AMIGA FORMAT AmiTRS80 EXCLUSIVE + SPEED and SOUND
*************************************************
Early in the New Year Simon Goodwin got a special
update of the only Amiga TRS-80 Model 1 emulator,
direct from the author. He's agreed to share it
as an exclusive with lucky AF readers. Good, eh?
Here's a copy of the relevant correspondence, which
can be regarded as an update on the documentation of
the original version on Aminet, this and past AF CDs.

Hi Simon,
Just a small update to the AmiTRS80 program.
The Z80 seems bug free now (famous last words?).
I have added speed regulation to the version attached to
this email. This should help High end users of the program.
Repeatedly pressing F1 will slow the Z80 down incrementally,
while repeatedly pressing F2 will speed it back up again.
You can actually play Galaxy Invasion at the intended speed now!
I am busy working on Disk read/write routines now that the Z80
problems appear to be solved.

If it isn't too late you might like to put this version on
instead. AmiTRS80.9g
I have added sound support (All the big 5 games work anyway)
The sound routine steals sound channel 2 (regardless of
whether it is in use..sorry!) then proceeds to bash it
directly.
The sound doesn't work with "Sea Dragon" yet but I am sure
it is something simple.
This version also contains the F1/F2 speed control feature.
Cheers, Leslie.
